| The Heavy Coat hydraulic pumps have been specially developed for working with high viscosity materials. They are characterised by their large flow passages and high suction power. This also allows them to be used with several guns on large
projects. |
The patented SSP System is a unique development from Wagner. It makes application much easier, especially of very high viscositymaterials such as spray fillers, adhesives and bituminous paints. Thanks to the special design of the system, the pump is continually loadedwith sufficient paint material by the shovel piston, making it possible to work without pulsation or malfunction. "Special Spray Power" is available for the HC940E and HC 940G.
The material pump of the Heavy Coat units is driven indirectly by hydraulics. This has the advantage that the shovel piston has a distinctly longer and slower stroke than with direct drive electric pumps. The high suction power improves the application ofhigh viscosity materials. The low wear rate and the resulting long service life of the equipment is a further positive aspect of hydraulictechnology. The wear surfaces of cylinder and piston rod are coated with an extremely wear resistant layer of hard chrome, making themable to withstand aggressive and abrasive materials. Pressure can be smoothly regulated up to 3335 PSI for perfect matching. |
